Terms of Use
The terms that apply when your business uses Jack Foundry to find, shortlist and manage suppliers.
Last updated 21 August 2026
About these terms
These terms apply whenever you use Jack Foundry, whether you are signed in or using the public search on our website.
By using the platform you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Jack Foundry.
What Jack Foundry does
Jack Foundry is a supplier discovery and supplier management platform for businesses. You describe a job in plain English and Jack Foundry interprets it, searches the area you have chosen and returns providers that may be relevant, along with the evidence behind each match.
Within the platform you can also:
- Save the locations your business operates from and search around any of them.
- Save jobs and searches so your team can return to them.
- Shortlist providers, and confirm the ones you go on to use as suppliers.
- Keep private notes and outcomes against a provider.
- Build and export supplier lists for a location or a group of locations.
- Share supplier information between related businesses where the platform supports it, including head office and multi-business group structures.
No guarantee of provider suitability
Jack Foundry helps you find providers. It does not stand behind them. In particular, Jack Foundry:
- Does not employ, control or act as agent for the providers shown.
- Is not the provider of the work you need done.
- Is not a party to any contract between you and a provider.
- Does not guarantee a provider's performance, quality, availability, response time or pricing.
- Does not independently verify every licence, certification, insurance policy or advertised service area.
Your checks before engaging a supplier
You remain responsible for your own procurement decisions. Licensing, certification, insurance and service area should be confirmed directly with a provider before engaging them.
Your account
You must give accurate account details and keep them current. Keep your sign in credentials secure and do not share them with people who are not authorised to use your account.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. Tell us promptly at hello@alturist.com.au if you suspect unauthorised access.
Business use
Jack Foundry is intended for business and commercial use. It is not designed or sold as a consumer service.
Working across locations and groups
You may use Jack Foundry for a single business, for a business with several locations, for a head office team that sources on behalf of other locations, or as part of a wider group or network of businesses.
Access depends on the permissions set within your account. Private information held by one business is not made available to unrelated businesses. Where sharing is enabled inside a group, only the public provider information and the supplier status are shared, not private notes.
Subscriptions and fees
Paid access is sold on annual plans. The plan, inclusions and price that apply to you are those shown on our Pricing page or in your order at the time you subscribe. Prices are in Australian dollars and GST is added where applicable.
Plans renew for a further term unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may change plans during a term; where a change increases your fees, the difference is payable as set out in your order.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. Access to paid features ends when a subscription expires or is cancelled, and unless we agree otherwise we do not refund fees for a term already started.
We may change pricing for future terms. Where a change affects your renewal, we will give reasonable notice before it takes effect.
Provider information
Information about providers shown in Jack Foundry is largely drawn from publicly available sources such as business listings and business websites. That information can be incomplete, out of date or change without notice.
Intellectual property
Jack Foundry owns the platform, its software, interface, design, branding and documentation. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you.
You keep ownership of the content you enter, such as job descriptions, notes and supplier lists, and grant us the licence we need to host and display it to you and the people you have authorised.
Factual public information about a business is not owned by Jack Foundry simply because it appears within the platform.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access where there is a breach of these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, a security risk, misuse of the platform, non-payment of fees, or unlawful activity.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Subject to that, the platform is provided on an as is basis, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with the platform is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, or to resupplying the service, at our option.
We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of a provider you choose to engage.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and continuing to use the platform after an update means the updated terms apply.
