How Jack Foundry may and may not be used.

The spirit of it

Jack Foundry exists to help businesses find suitable providers and keep track of the ones that work. Use it for genuine business sourcing, and treat the businesses that appear in results as you would want yours treated.

This policy forms part of the Terms of Use.

Use of the platform

You must not:

  • Use Jack Foundry for anything unlawful or fraudulent.
  • Impersonate another person, business or organisation.
  • Attempt to access another organisation's private data, including notes, jobs, shortlists and supplier records.
  • Attempt to bypass, probe or defeat account permissions or access controls.
  • Share sign in credentials with people who are not authorised to use your account.
  • Misuse invitations or organisation access, including inviting people who should not have access to your business's data.

Data and automated access

You must not:

  • Use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the platform beyond normal product use.
  • Scrape the platform, or extract or copy provider records at scale.
  • Use the platform's interfaces or APIs in a way that is abusive, excessive or designed to circumvent limits.
  • Reverse engineer or decompile the platform, except to the extent that restriction cannot lawfully be enforced.

Contacting providers

Provider details are shown so you can contact a business about work you genuinely need done. You must not use them to send unsolicited bulk messages, to harass a business, or to contact a business in a way that breaches the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) or any other law.

Platform integrity

You must not:

  • Interfere with the security, availability or performance of the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Introduce malware or any other harmful code.
  • Submit job requests that are unlawful, harmful or intended to procure unlawful work.

What we do about it

Where this policy is breached we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or end access. Serious matters may be reported to the relevant authority.
